Examination’s at the Clinic

Hauling into the clinic for an examination and/or vaccinations has several advantages. It will save you the horse owner at least $50.00 in call fees. The clinic is set up for all types of examinations, ranging from radiographs exams of the extremities to ultrasound exams of the legs to ultrasound exams of the reproductive tract of the mare. Endoscopic exams can be performed in the stocks providing safety and proper restraint for all. Lameness exams can be performed in the clinic with stalls being available to wait in if necessary while the effect of the local anesthetics set in. Time can be saved with a radiographic exam being performed on site and developed within minutes right at the clinic. If certain views have to be repeated, there is no problem with the x-ray processor being located right there. The large viewing screens allow for many radiographs from different dates to be examined at the same time.
